Women’s Premier League Grand Final set

Minor Premier champions RSIPF Royals will face off with pre-season tournament winner Koloale FC in the 2020 Solrais Women’s Premier League final this weekend.

Royals were the first side to secure their place in the final after seeing off Naha FC by 4-0 in their Wednesday afternoon semi-final at DC Park in Honiara.

Solomon Islands international and former Wellington United striker Laydah Samani netted all four goals for her side as a determined and well-drilled side saw off their opponents.

The second semi-final on Thursday afternoon was played between Koloala and Frigates United, with the former earning their place in the final with a 3-0 victory. The competition’s leading goalscorer Ileen Pegi was once again on the scoresheet, joined by fellow international Crystal Bakolo and Agnes Noesi.

Koloale FC and RSIPF Royals will meet in the 2020 Solrais Women’s Premier League Grand Final on Sunday December 6 at DC Park.
