The Solomon Islands Women’s Premier League is set to expand in 2021 following its successful debut last year.
The league board has agreed to expand from eight teams to ten, with the Solomon Islands Football Federation calling for interested clubs to get in touch.
Antoinette Miniti, SIFF Women’s Development Officer, said the expansion is an opportunity for more teams to join the excitement of the growing competition.
“Any clubs wishing to participate in this year’s Women’s Premier League should call into the SIFF office and see the competition department and women’s department.”
The new season has been proposed to start on Saturday, 27 March 2021.
RSIPF Royals were the inaugural winners of the 2020 Solrais Women’s Premier League.
