The Port Vila Football Association has launched its latest offering for women in the capital.
The PVFA Women’s Football Championship comes hot on the heels of the Women’s Super Cup and sees eight teams competing in the league-based competition.
Galaxy and Erakor Golden Stars, finalists in the Super Cup, have continued their dominance in the first two rounds with big wins over their opponents.

The first round kicked off on 1 May at Lycee de Bougainville field where Erakor Golden Star earned an opening 7-1 victory over Mauriki. Galaxy were equally prolific, securing a 9-0 win over Shepherds United. Ifira Black Bird also made a winning start with a 1-0 win over Tafea.
In Round 2, Galaxy went double-digits with a 10-0 victory over Tafea. In other results, Ifira Black Bird also earned their second win of the campaign beating Shepherds United 5-2, while Mauriki beat Etas 4-3.
